Neal Vaughan is a Carshalton based artist, working from his studio and on location in the surrounding areas and South Coast of England.
Neal primarily produces pencil drawings, charcoals and intimate oil panels.
His passion is the depiction of his surroundings and this will often see him following popular local and national walks and trails to work quickly on sketches or final works ‘plein air.’ This gives his work a vitality and freshness that is very popular with collectors and galleries alike.
As well as his artwork, Neal is also a teacher at Coulsdon Sixth Form College and is also the brains and drive behind the hugly popular Carshalton Artists Open Studios.
CAOS celebrates the vibrant Carshalton visual arts scene and can be viewed every year, in the last week of June and first week of July.
